If you build enough of these and keep them long enough till multiple generation of dogs have always known the places where sticks can be found in the beginning and are also left in the end.
Would they grow to use it naturally without human intervention?
Come to think of it, what is even the thing with dogs walking around with sticks, evolutionary wise? People training them to find wood for the fire or as part of social game in the wild?
