The House has voted to overturn a rule that would have limited bank overdraft fees to $5, following the Senate in moving to dismantle the Biden-era regulation that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau had estimated would save consumers billions of dollars.
Ive said it before but biden was the best president of my lifetime. he did so many things that by and large helps everyone. unfortunately they will want to get rid of it all because of the fact it by and large helped either everyone or a large amount of average folks (like the loan forgiveness did) and they don’t like that type of thing.
There were so many cool things accomplished at the end of Joe Biden’s term like him breaking apart monopolies, building up a chip factory in Arizona, forgiving the student loans, lowering crime rates, cracking down on junk fees, forcing airlines to pay when flights are canceled, negotiating lower prescription prices and being the first sitting president in joining a strike. The tax cuts would’ve expired for the rich in 2025 imagine how much further he could’ve went with that extra funding and most of the mess cleaned up.
If only people didn’t allow themselves to get tricked…
