I think it was specifically Russell Brand mentioned, when I first heard that if a public personality dramatically shifts left to right, you can bet there’s some scandal that’ll come out soon.
Because they know the right won’t care, and they’ll still have a career after.
I honestly thought he died during the pandemic. What a weird way to find out someone is still alive.
He did in a way, as many did. Not that the old pre-pandemic Russel Brand was better, because he was always out there being a sex pest, but his old public personality is dead and gone while his new performance is born-again evangelical because they’re the most supportive of this kind of behavior.
