Carpet isn’t worth the solvent and effort that it would take to save it. Maybe if they could get it steam cleaned before it dries, but that’s unlikely so they’re going to replace it.
There may be a solvent that’ll remove latex but not the body paint, but I don’t know which. Otherwise scrape it off, sand and repaint.
Or you could ride around in VOCs for a few days and use the money you saved for chemotherapy.
I don’t even know what to do in a situation like that. Wipe off anything that’s not porous, replace everything that is?
