It wasn’t Winter Soldier, but I liked it.

The movie could have been improved a lot by not showing Red Hulk in the trailers.

It was cool that they brought back Samuel Sterns (finally) but his whole thing was “oh man what’s he doing to Ross?” but instead of that feeling you get “where’s Red Hulk already??”

Everyone at Marvel has it wrong. If your film isn’t going to be well-written, directed, or acted it should be very entertaining. This saturation of cgi caped shenanigans is tiresome.

I haven’t seen my theory out there yet, so I wanted to share it underneath your positive comment. I think that Captain America and thunderbolts* are going to take place in different realities as a set up for realities fighting each other in the Avengers.

I enjoyed my time at Brave New World, too.

The theories online are always so much better than what actually happens. Marvel makes movies where everything generally stays the same until the next entry, and nothing major changes before or after in order to not alienate the audiences.

          That’s an interesting theory. Isn’t

          Sentinel Sentry (I’m an idiot)

originally from another timeline in the comics? So that could track.

Sentry is the character in the movie, not Sentinel. More about sentry under the next spoiler.

He was retconned in to the Marvel universe in the early 2000s as having been there all along. However, due to some comic booky shenanigans the whole world forgot who he was.

I read this a while back so I don’t remember all the details (like how it was done), but It was Reed Richards that did it to prevent Sentry’s alter ego - The Void - from ever becoming a threat again.

Yes, thank you to all of your points! Silly on my part about who I named (incorrectly) because I know better.

Emphasis on this part of his quote here:

“[to] some of my friends who are critics, I said, ‘I think you guys missed it. I think you guys got it wrong.’” "

And then says that he feels it is way more important that the audiences like it rather than the critics.
