You’re misreading my frustration. There’s lots of people in the same boat as you. It’s a categorical fact that the right wing has been fostering a culture of gun ownership being American and a direct FU to the libtards. It’s a categorical fact they have the guns and most people who have been eating up the Democratic party slop for the past decade probably doesn’t own guns and wouldn’t know how to use them in any meaningful way against a group that has shaped their whole personality around being armed.

The liberals have been on a crusade against the second amendment for decades. The people who have and know how to use guns ARE the fascists…

I’m not ruling out out that it might actually be me who’s lost the plot and I’m just being too small minded/optically paranoid.

The one at my capitol is a swing and a miss for me. They’re going to have a family friendly drag show and carnival games… Cute I guess…?

I’m not in any way against drag shows or community building events but this moment feels serious and it feels like the organizers have lost the plot on this one.
