While many sources of fructose naturally and no reason to think they behave differently than HFCS, high fructose corn syrup to my knowledge uses enzymes to convert glucose to fructose to raise the percentage. (And then re-add corn syrup to adjust the fructose/glucose to a desired ratio)

How much healthier a simple syrup (sugar split into a 50% glucose and 50% fructose) vs a 60/40 fructose/glucose HFCS is very debatable…

ME is when I switched to Linux just sometimes I also have a windows machine… Like the win10 gaming laptop that is really end of life… (If you don’t want gaming sure it could be fine on Linux but it’s wasn’t intended to live this long so a good gaming machine before the year of win10 extended support ends is likely in my future… And will likely run Linux)

I use prism launcher for Java edition Minecraft both on windows and Linux. (Good for modded setups and pinning versions as well much better than stock)

This is the biggest problem wifh genai, it takes over the meaning of any other AI… At most theis hearing aid “AI” is a small neural network to remove background (noise) vs foreground (talk), more likely it’s not even that complicated but still focused on nearest conversation and not other noise.

I feel the gen “AI” everywhere is just an excuse to collect data since they always use the online models… And if you are either not paying or paying api rates (per token… Or usually million token rate) it’s basically being provided significantly below cost.

Anything you can do in Jujitsu you can do in git… The big difference is a paradime change:

-instead of a working directory that has pending changes you need to add than commit, all changes are in a commit that is lacking metadata.

The system has better “editing” of local history to set that meta data. But once you push to a shared repo you run the usual risks of force pushing.

I’m not sold, rather git not do anything until asked and just run git status constantly but I don’t have first hand experience… I would theory it would be more likely to add a file you didn’t mean to… Unlike those who use windows guis for git and forget to add new files.

Funny those are commands I avoid… They all have to do with editing history which I know there is a vocal group here that loves “clean” history but that isn’t what happened.

sure merge full features so you can roll back a feature… And if something is really off I might start from a snapshot commit and cherry pick/merge a bunch in but usually history is histoy… If submitting to a public project I may make a new branch with the cleaned version but why edit in line. That is risking issues.

I am perfectly ok with android apps being required to be signed by not just a certificate (they always were just it could be self signed and just needed to match to upgrade without removing data) but a list of trusted entities.

As long as:

• I can install my own key on my phone (I’d I am trusted)
• major distributors like fdroid and have a key installed without friction (like web CAs)
• Google let’s me mark their key as untrusted (I probably won’t but I should be able to refuse things they trust (at install time, not disabling preloaded apps like settings)

Without this it feels too much extending the monopoly despite being forced to allow 3rd party stores.

Let’s just realize that these are not what make a good unique game:

• Minecraft but better
• Minecraft but not Java

Many games of course have minecraft like elements, that work, they just do try to be their own things:

• FortressCraft Evolved: Voxel factory game with tower defence elements
• Colony Survival: Voxel building game where you protect and grow a colony

Moving away from games with Voxel building for those that “want better graphics” you have games like

• Valheim - build/adventure.
• ARK: Survival Evolved - build/adventure/poop jokes (sorry never got into the game the let’s play poop jokes got old for me)

Also might add there are minecraft aspects to the 2d games, but most have unique gameplay as well

Factorio Stardew Valley Terraria - I really should like this… But every time I try it I don’t

None of these are “Minecraft killers” because while they may allow for some sandbox play they are unique games. Same for some others I see in this thread.

Sure you have Luanti as well if you want to make a highly modded minecraft like, or just other voxel game to play test, and maybe prove why its better. But it never tried to replace minecraft.

It’s better not to equate the two parties of the USA to the parties in a parliamentary system it’s a different beast.

The Democrats are the coalition of the left of center interest groups of the current time, and Republicans the coalition of the right of center interest groups of the current time.

These groups are more the parties of the parliamentary system and run candidates in the primaries of their respective parties, and possibly as independent from time to time (particularly when they feel a bit pushed out of the main parties). Also they push these candidates at all levels (local, state, congress ect)

I would love some sort of rank choice/instant runoff ballots to make more choices easier in the voting lineup, however those who are pushing for third parties without trying to run local politicians or promoting policies ect will likely not succeed in that system either.
