Too many minorities that support their system forget that they’re are minorities, and have no seat at the table. They’re just useful idiots for now, and bodies in the end game. Think of people like Rafael Cruz, Nimrata Haley, and Vivek Ramashwarmy. The fact that two of them had to change their name to have a seat at the table now is evidence enough.

English names tend do just get characters that sound phonetically like their English pronunciation. As such, a lot of names, especially longer ones, don’t mean anything. If you directly translated them, a lot of the time you’d get like “cabbage the horse wheel” or something.

For real. There’s a very well known guy in the AEC industry that invented a very important custom PowerShell module for a pillarstone software. This same man was supposed to have a large session he spoke in at Autodesk University, which I am attending right now. I was really looking forward to attending his talk.

Well, I was following him on LinkedIn, and a couple months ago he comments under a post basically saying, “We must support Israel no matter what, and fuck you if you question what is going on in Gaza.” This man commented basically saying, “Exactly, Israel should not be questioned, let them do what they want.”

Much to nobody’s surprise, he’s not speaking at AU. It’s pretty clear he got dropped. It’s good to see shitty actions having consequences.

There are two manufacturers of Girl Scout cookies in the US. They’re roughly a West and East manufacturer. Their cookies taste subtly different–unless you have sensory integration disorder like my sister and have tasted the difference her whole life and then deep dived into it in her early 20s and felt very vindicated when she found out there were two distributors and no she wasn’t crazy that whole time and just tasted that almost impossible to detect difference.

I think you missed the point OP was, I hope, trying to make.

The truth here is that JD Vance is absolutely trying to red herring and manipulate anyone with children, or who can empathize with parents, into sympathizing with his backwards world view. JD is painting this nice little picture about how nice it is for a parent to have kids, how nice it is for a grandparent to have grandchildren, all while purposefully ignoring the elephant in the room, and the real issue behind why some people are hesitant to have children given the current state of things.

The real reason people are hesitating is not for them, but for the child. They want to spare a potential child from growing up in an America that looks like “The Book of Eli” or “The Road”. They’re holding off because they don’t want their kid dying in super wild fires. They don’t want their kid drowning in their home when the worst hurricane anyone has ever seen hits a coast. They don’t want their kid getting murdered for their supplies, and left to bleed out under an irradiated sky, ash falling on them as they go limp.

It’s the easiest thing in the world to say, “of course people should have kids, mine have made me so happy!”; it takes far more character to say, “I can understand why someone might be hesitant nowadays.”

Now, I’m not even sure JD Vance meant to red herring here, and demonize people with very real concerns. For all we know his gross narcissism cannot even allow him to really feel for his children beyond an extension of himself. However, I know JD Vance is smart. Because of that, I’m willing to bet he answered that question so that people like you can say, “I absolutly agree with that response”, and not even recognize that he completely red herringed the issue, ignored the subtilty, gathered sympathy for his shitty world view, all while grifting into oblivion.

He’s even more spineless, view-flipping, double-speaking, violent in his rhetoric, misogynistic, narcissistic, vile, and illogical than I previously knew; and I’ve read quite a bit on him. He is such a parasitic filth staining American democracy. I hope hell takes him quickly, but only after his children find out how lacking he is in every quality that makes a good man, and they tell him. Only then should hell swallow him whole.

It absolutely does. Without Republicans gerrymandering everything to stay in the fold, they’re completely done. They’ll get bodied every election. The last time the Republicans won the popular vote was 20 years ago, and the party has radically changed since then.

Hopefully undoing the electoral college is the first step to dismantling the two party system.

Just look at the front “bumper”. It’s triangular, and made of metal. If it hits a pedestrian, unlike other cars that try to bump and deflect the pedestrian up onto the hood, the Cybertruck will cut the pedestrian in half with that angle. Also, because it’s metal, there is NO give. That could even be dangerous to other cars, let alone pedestrians and cyclists.
