Yor local pan enby pal ::DDD
It should as long as they have the same MX stem
They are pretty good, tho similar to one of the reply here: last time I used one of their keyboard it was around 2016-2020.
So I’d assume the model with little to no bells and whistle should be reliable enough, even right now.
Oh, that’s rather unfortunate :(
Here’s hoping the replacement works swimmingly
Im not too familiar with STM32, but I think this should apply on all QMK-based device: is the default program still accessible after you disconnect then reconnect the device?
If the answer is yes, then your keyboard is probably fine. That said, I am afraid I can’t help you past that.
Add: If you have access to Discord, you might want to hit QMK Discord server and see if there are any community member that can help you with the issue.
Oh, adding to that: lubing usually helps, although i dont think it’d be the exact same thing as the one you already have on your previous board.
The somewhat complicated (but personally feel the best) solution is to desolder the old switches cleanly enough so you can put it on your new board :D
Most probably due to usage.
There’s also a non-zero chance of it being caused by a different manufacturing batch. The newer MX might still be a black switch, but there might be some changes (be it update on switch design, different manufacturing method, etc.) between version that effects how it actually end up feeling and sounding.
I’m pretty sure its not due to it being soldered, as I got 2 differeng boards with the same type of switches but different switch connection between them and they both felt similar.
Reminds me of Vivi’s stance from FFIX, honestly
Both of them in unison, surely
If anyone is wondering: the artist goes by the name of thisstupidtwink on IG
Thanks for another banger, Smorty!
Curley ahh activity
I haven’t got around the third one myself, tho that’s more because I am not a huge fan of the 3d aspect of it.
Also, do play AT II with the patch! It solves some of the wonkier part of the game and that one buggy boss fight
How do you do, fellow AT II enjoyer?
Edit: Oh, have you tried playing the game with Project Metafalica patch?
God i wish that were me
For switch: probably custom keyboard shop, I’m pretty sure they have small pack of 10 or sampler option. Not sure where you are located, but one of the option I saw for US is hippokeys. Cant vouch for them, however, as I haven’t ordered anything from them.
As for keycaps: unfortunately there is no actually good answer for this atm (or probably moving forward, tbh). If you want cute color(s) for keycaps, there’s little to no chance that they will support backlit. Backlit keycaps tend to cover the most basic of layout with the most marketable of color and/or color combo choice. Unfortunately, your current keyboard setup is (for better or worse) neither of those. The font face on backlit is also egregious as the standard mold is probably the same as those gaming keyboard. I honestly think you’re better off not changing the keycaps or changing it to another non-backlit option.
Edit: you can also DM me out of this if that makes it easier
I personally think that it’d be easier for you to replace the switches that suits what you need than replacing the entire keyboards.
If I’m not wrong, your keyboard is hotswappable; so you can just swap the switches without need of soldering.
As for possible switch replacement, most aftermarket switch out there are MX compatible and should fit you keyboard. Some pointers for your possible switch replacements are as follows: follows:
As for keycaps, pretty sure a lot of purchasable keycaps set that support backlight are compatible with your keyboard. The right shift make things wonky, but I saw a website that does have em in store.
Evolution peaked too early DDD::
