11% increase in revenue. Lays off a thousand employees. Great to see capitalism working for people and not corporations.

Yeah. He went to that other school with my girlfriend in Canada. My uncle who worked for Nintendo knows all about it.
THANKS OB…iden.
Ringtone volume is set under “Sounds & Haptics” in settings.
It’s a “sticky” setting in that, if you have “change with buttons” turned off, you have to go back to settings to adjust the notification/ringtone volume, but I’ve always treated ringtones as on/off rather than specific volume levels, because of the silent switch. I don’t ever want my phone to ring loud, so I have the volume set low just in case I happened to forget to put it in silent mode.
As much as we have Lucas to thank for the movies getting made, it cannot be overstated just how important Ralph was (and continues to be) to the visual language of Star Wars. I love that shows like Rebels, Obi-Wan, and The Mandalorian have incorporated so many of his previously unused designs. His work is the gift that keeps on giving.
This is why I block users who share garbage after the first few times I notice it. For example, this will be the last post I see from OP.
Imagine if the same complaints were leveled at people every time Samsung put out a new watch, phone, or tablet. Some of these are just cell radio variations, but come on.
Some variation of this rumor has floated around for years now. Every year we get people saying Apple’s going to change the band design and make old bands incompatible with new watches.
Will it happen at some point? Sure. Do I think it’ll be this next year? No. A magnetic connection seems like the exact kind of thing Apple would want to do if it were practical, but for a device that is used in the range of activities the watch is, it’s not.
Windows Phone seven was three years away from unveiling and nearly 4 from release.
Kobo and Boox are both great alternatives to Kindles.
I think it’s the 12 Days of Christmas rather than a full Advent Calendar setup.
Also… what’s your game called? I’d be interested in checking it out.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ll likely sink a hundred or more hours into it again, and I may even be wrong about the Stardew Valley feelings once I get into it. Genuinely loved this game when it first came out, and regret selling my N64 collection when I was in college.
Aside from the OoT and Majora’s Mask additions, I don’t know that many (any?) games could have made me more excited than this. I sunk so many hours into these three games. That said, I’m prepared to be disappointed by the way 1080 controls, and constantly thinking about how Harvest Moon would benefit from being just a bit more like Stardew Valley.
But I’ll have waves of nostalgia pouring over me any way.
Russia: Let’s send stuff to the moon. Who cares if it lands, maybe it works maybe it doesn’t. Oops! It all blew up. Oopsie!
India: Let’s design an experiment that may offer helpful insights for future missions, and has the added bonus of ensuring we don’t leave debris on the moon.
This is how I understood the comment:
Wrapped gets Spotify a lot of positive buzz. Layoffs while that buzz happens may get less notice, because people are on the “look at all the neat Spotify numbers” train and essentially advertising good vibes for the platform.

Blu-Ray discs can carry offline updates that blacklist other discs. All players must support these updates as part of licensing the technology. All your blu-rays may play today, but if an update comes along to revoke the license on a title and you play a disc that carries the update that enables that revocation, it won’t play back on your device. It’s occasionally been used to disable known pirated discs, and so far hasn’t been used on licensed materials, but “so far” is never much assurance.
Blu-Ray discs can carry mandatory software updates that change the functionality of playback devices, add “protections” against “piracy”, and could potentially revoke licenses of content on other discs.
Media companies are prepared to screw you over regardless of wether or not you but content from them. I do believe in paying for content, but I don’t trust any modern distribution to last, so I have a couple backups of all the media I’ve ever purchased. And for formats that make it difficult to back up, I sail the seven seas.
