    That’s quite the time skip! I guess they didn’t want to show the same story beats over and over as Inori passes each badge test.

    This is just a set-up episode, so it’s not as exciting as other episodes. I suspect this would be the case for the next one too, before delivering the climax at the finale (episode 12).
