They’ll make it for a short while, but even the very wealthy can’t actually live without a functioning civilization. The status these people enjoy is a social contract, and once society collapses they’re not gonna be much better off than anyone else. Some might flee to bunkers, but I doubt that these narcissists could survive a lockdown style lifestyle for long.
