I’m trying to fill a new ebook request on MaM. So far I’ve:

  1. Removed the DRM from the ebook.
  2. Created the torrent using mktorrent (the docker version of qBit doesn’t allow you to create a new torrent, so I used mktorrent)
  3. Uploaded the torrent file to MaM

However, I can’t figure out how the heck to get my dockerized qbittorrent to seed the file. I tried going to FileAdd torrent file but then qBittorrent just looks to download the torrent (the same one I’m actually just trying to seed).

How do I do this? Is this another shortcoming of the containerized qBittorrent? If so, what other program can I use?

I know this is noob stuff but I can’t seem to figure this out.

    You need to right click and point it to the proper directory where the files are located.

    RMB -> Set Location

    Start the torrent. It should say Checking Files, count up to 100%, and then start seeding.

    You can move the ebook file to where qbittorrent is trying to download it to, and then recheck. It’ll then recognize that the file is there, and should work as a seed.
