If that promo picture is anything to go by I think we missed out on a “so bad it’s good” opportunity

It’s a tricky one but if not done really well (or just done cynically to start a franchise) I could imagine it being awfully cheesy. However, as the option has lapsed, it may be some with more enthusiasm for it might take it on.
If it was going to be anything like how the Artemis Fowl movie ended up being, y’all dodged a huge bullet. I’m still sad about AF.
