Where do I hide the porn under Linux? Might migrate to Linux, and I want to keep my porn collection.

I know this is a joke but here comes my two cents:

      1. Create a hidden folder called .free_energy_designs
      2. Put some random images of pyramids in there
      3. Use VeraCrypt to encrypt with secret second encryption layer where you store your porn

May i ask, is it a single or multi user machine? Who owns it and/or has root access? Will anyone try to access your account (sudo abuse, give me the password let me search, bumps into it on shared account, etc…)?

Why hide it? But unless you normally have hidden files shown you could just put a period at the start of the folder name and then it’ll be hidden (works on windows too). Generally you’d put all that stuff in the home folder for your user, so “/home/<username>/.notporn/”

“Porn collection” and other expressions without God.

What’s the point in have it? Streaming pornography is extremely easy, and you can even watch paid content for free without difficult. To have tons of gigas of porn is just gross and unecessary. And hide it from who? You’re a toddler or something? It’s your computer, what isn’t allowing you to create a directory in desktop called “xxx Porn Collection xxx”?
