I’m sure that these Republican lawmakers have their motives for their ridiculous gun laws (probably money, but I have a limited knowledge when it comes to politics currently). However, it upsets me that they don’t seem to care at all about human life. How many children are they going to let die? I don’t believe guns are inherently evil, they have uses, but they need some strong restrictions right now. School shootings have become an epidemic in the United States, and as an American student, I’m honestly terrified about my own safety.
This is only the first time I’ve heard about Justin Jones, but from this video, he seems like a great person. I love that he actually shows emotion when he speaks. I definitely will do further research on him.
Seems to me like Wealth, Power and Oil is all that our flawed democracy has really been about in the last 50 years in the US of A. And the greed of the elites keeps driving policies more than anything or anyone else (IMHO).
We need to get rid of the revolving door or have a seperation of Big Businesses/Corporations and the State/Government. Otherwise I’ve no hope 😕😞 that things will get better for “We the people” * / majority of US citizens.
Edit: Printing out the dollar 💵; only to bail out the fraudulent business people at the very top 🎩 (who seem to love hording wealth , land / property AND who seem to NOT want to pay any tax) doesn’t seem sustainable
