So is Poilievre’s enthusiastic praise for the US invasion of Venezuela, and his pandering to fascists.

Throughout Trump’s Presidency, all he does is threaten and demean everyone to keep the world off balance, and he is quite good at it, however, I would not play his silly game or read any more of his media. There was an excellent older movie out that explains how the US government works. It is a must-see movie for all people caught up in his bullshit and the ones before him.

Canada’s southern border is huge and almost its entire population lives very close to it. The USA could occupy our major cities very quickly and our military is far from a match for theirs. The whole system has been designed on the assumption that the USA will not become an enemy and can be reasonably expected to help defend Canada from other enemies, and Canada can manage with relatively small forces since it’s geographically quite well protected except on the southern border. It was not designed to anticipate a rapid takeover of the USA by Nazis who immediately decide to attack all their former allies. We wrongly assumed the USA had its shit together even just a little bit.

I’m Canadian through and through. If the US goes over the border, they’re going to have to put new entries in the Geneva Conventions. I’m already coming up with fucked up ways to deal with American Nazi shitfucks.

I got little to lose so I might as well make them remember me.

Agreed, but our military will be useless. The civilian guerrilla fighting will make them wish they had impeached trump the first time.

And its not going to be limited to Canadian territory. It would be stupidly easy to get across the border into the US and blend in to reach targets.

Vulnerability to whom? Russia is no longer a military threat, and China is a threat in ways Trump is unable to comprehend (considering the US is more at threat than Canada). That leaves… vulnerable to the US? We already knew that.

I suspect it’s because he can get a foot in the door through Alberta, and he has the official opposition in his pocket. If he moves on Canada compared to other countries he’s threatened(?), there are people in positions of power willing to legitimize his actions. I’m not sure if the same can be said about Greenland, Columbia, or Mexico.

I wonder what conservative talking head J.J. McCullough is saying about Canadian Conservatives who support Trump. What are his thoughts on Conservatives in Canada, knowing they’ve gone full anti-vax, pro-Trump, Christian nationalist, fiercely anti-LGBTQ+, anti-immigration, and support a genocidal country like Israel.

Though, I’m fairly certain J.J. is pro-Israel. I don’t know about everything else.
