I don’t know if this is the norm for other countries websites to do the same, but this seems kind of out of place for me. Is there is a reason, norm or is it related for something I don’t know?
Shouldn’t official government websites be only concerned about the people actually employed at them and decision makers?
Two things:
Are you just connecting imaginary dots to satisfy your determined conclusions?
“Why is X happening? It seems out of place to me.”
Your point?
That phrase implies (implies!) that X is bad.
