Looks like Signal did tracking attempts on me

Tracker Detector also found Amazon, Google AND Microsoft trackers at MollyFoss.
Signal uses AWS as a backend. It also uses firebase for push notifications by default, meaning Google can tell whenever you get a notification!
So… should I just turn off Signal’s notifications?
You could use Molly-FOSS, a fork of the signal client, to use Unifiedpush and receive notifications through a provider like ntfy (selfhostable) or sunup (which uses Mozilla by default)

Signal Messenger does use Google and Amazon services, so these requests wouldn’t surprise me.
It’s one of the reasons why I don’t use Signal.
What do you use then?
Its end to end encrypted, the server operators cant spy on you.
Also try Molly if you dont want google to know your notifications.
