They have not forgotten how to cope with it, they have literally just not replaced any equipment that stopped working, and also even sold what working equipment they had left. My city sold its only snow plow and now there have been multiple accidents yesterday, including a police car that slithered into a parked car. I understand nothing at this point.

The few accidents are soon forgotten, higher taxes to provide better services aren’t.

Yes, it’s a fucking disgrace. Something that would have been considered a pretty normal winter only two decades ago manages to create chaos and disruption for what reason again?

Humanity as a whole has taken a wrong turn at some point, we are living in a giant open-air lunatic asylum.

In the citys yeah, in the more mountainies places, we dont care, we just drive.

Thats why you have good winter tires, and not all season tires

There is no glory in prevention. Also the ones saving money by not being prepared are not liable for the chaos and its ramifications.

Lol this happens every year. If more than 2 snowflakes fall the whole train network collapses.

Our public transport provider still has no clue how to account for weather.

And we have one of the most expensive train networks in Europe.
