I share the sentiment, but in IR, you only change policy based on events, not rhetoric. The moment you make real changes based on shit people say, but not do, you’re just a dancing monkey while they wax lyrical.
That’s how it used to be, until Trump came along.
We should be well prepared in advance for that event. Prevention, planning, and strategizing are key elements that can help avert the worst-case scenario.
