    What is it?

    I know that Python is a programming language. I know what notebooks are generally, but I don’t know if there’s a more specific meaning for the two words together.

    The community sidebar is also empty, at least in my client. And I don’t see any posts.

      You can imagine a notebook, ipynb file, as a collection of Python scripts in one file, that you can run on their own or combined. It’s cell-based, so every script is its own cell and has its own console output.

      Jupyter notebooks are what comes to mind for me. It’s kind of a blend of IDE (interactive development environment, like VSCode) and a way to display or explore data. Usually used by Machine Learning Engineers, Analysts, and Data Engineers.
