It would also seem that the article’s existence violates Wikipedia’s “no conflicts of interest” policy and the entire list of sources violates the “no self-published sources” rule. I propose the article be deleted. Thoughts?
I get the joke, but the sources aren’t self-published. They’re published by an instance other than the author and that’s good enough, that’s what the self‐publishing rule is about.
The COI can hardly apply to members of a fairly broad group writing about the group. By that logic, Americans shouldn’t write about the USA, only gay people could write about heterosexuality, etc.
Conflict of interest (COI) editing involves contributing to Wikipedia articles about yourself, family, friends, clients, employers, or your financial and other relationships.

I swear I’m not this insufferably unfunny most of the time.
They’re published by an instance other than the author
We’re still doing the “individuality” thing? “Oooh I’m a separate entity than other humans” smh. All articles are published by the universe, about the universe. But the universe also owns that site, so it’s not like anyone can do something about it…
This is why I only generate text using a randomiser based on the detection of energy released from virtual particle pair annihilations.
Clearly we need more species diversity in Wikipedia editors.
I now and then “let” my cat write on the keyboard, but he’s always rejected for some obscure claim like “illegible”.
I think it is relatively humble, writing an article about your species and listing hairlessness and bipedalism as your most distinguishing features. I mean which species does that?
Writing a wikipedia article about themselves is another distinguishing feature of humans.
Exactly my point
Chickens are absolutely furious
The can write their own article on chickipedia.
Keter class hazard.
Wait until you read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedian
Do other apes hate us?
Apes scare me. Chimpanzee are aggressive little fuckers. New world primates can be pretty cute though.
They can be tolerant of humans, but they’ve also been known to hunt and eat humans.
So, not much different then us humans.
Wait. Which ape eats humans?
Chimpanzees and Humans have both been documented to hunt and eat Humans and Chimpanzees.
Gorillas, on the other hand, have a more plant-based diet and are generally less aggressive, there are few to no cases of them killing humans AFAIK.
Could be someone’s homework in the second 21st century
Wait… Who is this article written for?
Whatever species digs up our remains.
And I see you’re continuing the trend!
TBF, I’m sure the person who wrote the article probably doesn’t consider high intelligence as a compliment, moreso a curse.
