If more money wouldn’t change the way you live your life you’re already rich.
excuse me it would not change my routine the slightest but i would tip the fuck out of everyone i saw.
open the door for me? twenty bucks. wave hi? twenty bucks? rob me? twenty bucks. you know i’m good for it.
If I had more money, I wouldn’t change anything about how I live. Right up until the point where I live the same, except without working, which would be an incredible increase in my quality of life
I just want to spend time with friends and family, while doing my hobbies :(

This needs to be understood, especially in the throes of a capitalist hellscape - currency isn’t the only source of wealth. Emotional fulfilment is a far more valuable form of wealth than money.

TIL having the food, time, relationships, and space that you want is actually bad. We must always desire for more
I feel like this is how self made billionaires think:

You don’t HAVE to be content with your wealth to find happiness at any level.
My food is modified for volume not taste
The smog is too thick in the city for real sunlight
I watch my friends wither away under capitalism, all we can do is hold on together as we drown
I cannot go outside as the city has removed all the parks
I am told I am still rich
How are those not things to be glad over? I’m very glad when I’m able to do those things because I’m not always able to do them. It makes me feel lucky and happy. Anyone who doesn’t feel those are things to be glad over need to check their privilege, they’re spoiled and shitty.
And I dislike greenpeace too, not defending them at all.
