There’s a huge contradiction to be pointed at for our working class populations.
The situation isnt great for workers atm. I can tell. But they think its gonna improve soon. That why they sit on their hands. Showing then that this is a repetition of the conditions of ww2 is not really helping either.
One reason being that the reporting is being propagandized, just as everything else. We as communists should probably be the ones pointing at the situation being much worse than is being reported.
We have to get out of the tailist position and get in front.
Please points out any oversights please. Any ideas?
All I know is I have like about £300 leftover after bills every month right now, which is better than a lot of people granted - but I have 15 years of in work experience and im in a high stress job that has people relying on me to survive.
Yeah, no way to get ahead in this stupid country other than to be a landlord.
Im genuinely so cynical over all of this, I dont think it’ll ever get better here, we will elect reform/conservative next election cycle and be trapped in this neo-liberal doom spiral forever.
i’ll give my two cents
I have 15 years of in work experience
these days with AI, austerity and stuff that doesn’t matter for the bourgeoisie
no way to get ahead in this stupid country other than to be a landlord
i mean, i understand that you want to get more money for living expenses, but being a landlord is not “getting ahead”, sorry

I have no intention of ever being a landlord, its more in the UK the only way to actually get paid a good wage is to be one.

For sure
I feel that comrade.
I live off my wife’s income atm and we have enough left over to survive but thats pretty much it.
That isnt a situation that can go on forever and theory being correct it can only go in one direction, downward.
I calm myself in knowing that this will implode, no matter what I do. It is umpossible that this goes on more than ten years. No chance in hell.
But that is how it must go. The situation must get horrible. That is a fact. Only then will the most progressive forces emerge and help the others out of the water they are drowning in.
I watched “the communist” yesterday on youtube for free. Its a ussr film and it is absooutely spot on. I hope it helps you gain some revolutionary optimism.
That said, are you organized yet? I might have done bad things if i didnt have my comrades offline. Get together with one person who thinks like you. Think, read and talk together. And if shit is unbearable, you might find a solution with them. Organize! Your life depends on it.

sorry, but that is not how it works, without class consciousness that usually gives strength to fascism
Feel free to be more specific. At this point i dont see why that isnt still the case. Of course it gives rise to fascism, which frightens people into e.g. reading (personal example) which makes them start forming educational circles.
Imo the biggest reason among many why the communist movement in the west is weaker today than after the war is the relatively good circumstances compared to before the war mixed with large scale disinformation.
We see this now as the austerity heightens again and the contradictions deepen. The government is starting mass manipulation campaign after campaign while fascism was building over decades, supported by the government.
But only now do the cracks show more deeply and people such as i have more arguments to show to others who dont have 8 hours uninterrupted time to study das kapital.
It is quantitative changes which then lead to qualitative ones. Thats what i meant with they need to get horrible.

i have to agree mostly
people such as i have more arguments to show
for example?
to others who dont have 8 hours uninterrupted time to study das kapital
oh c’mon, you’re just trying to imply that people are just stupid and lazy…even myself didn’t need 8 hours uninterupted to study das kapital, the original text was delivered in little bits to make it easier to the 19th century workers…if they could make an international, i think there’s no excuse to take some time to read a little. being an empiricist only can take you a little way than you could go learning sum theory
