“there are no curriculum requirements for home schooling… You can send your kid to private or religious schools and the city/state foots the bill.”
This sounds fucking moronic. It sounds like you all are just super excited to be able to indoctrinate kids with shitty inaccurate education infused with christianity using taxpayer money.
“there are no curriculum requirements for home schooling….
All schools including home schools and private schools are required to follow the state curriculum, just like public schools. That comment refers to licensing requirements.

Kind of. You can apply for an Education Freedom Account . It is a scholarship to attend home school or the private school of your choice. It is $5,000 a year.
For comparison, some school districts spend $26,000 a year per student on public education. It’s pretty awesome to choose where your kids go to school! and in the long run the state will spend a lot less money on education.
Hey, are you associated with the Free State Project? You’ve posted quite a decent amount of posts from them on here.
Not officially. I am a free stater living in New Hampshire. I’m doing my part to spread the word. I’m hoping people will choose to visit and see for themselves!
