Took me a sec. How Met Your Mother. It was very popular and now has a spin off, How I Met Your Father

Never watched it only heard it was coming out. Honestly wasn’t a big fan of the original either… I know I’ll get hate for saying it
It was cancelled after season 2. They never got to reveal who the father was.
I stunt even remember the details of the end of HIMYM. Other than “meh”
“…and that’s the justification for why I’m gonna go grief-bang your Aunt Robin now that Mom’s dead.”
Supposedly that was the ending they came up with in season 2. When it still sorta made sense for that ending to work. Not 9 seasons later when you’ve explored them having a relationship numerous times and had an episode about “letting her go” in the last season.
The guy that plays Ted was like “wait we’re still doing this???”
They even filmed another better ending. They saw it and still went that stupid blue horn ending.
I watched the show, it got quite boring towards the end, but I thought I needed to finish watching just to find out the answer.
A decade later I don’t remember AT ALL who the mother is, that’s how boring and bad it got towards the end.
