If you’re cold they’re cold. Bring them inside.
Hell yeah, I’d do it
Don’t. It will kill you. They aren’t cuddly pets.
That’s okay if it makes him happy.
If not friend, why friend shaped?
No thanks, him cold
How big is your house?
Lmao I live in the smallest 1b I’ve ever lived in

Here’s my Bison buddy, only -20 though
You just have a bison? Thats so cool and I don’t know why. I want to come and see it and maybe pet it.
❤️
Hard to get a sense of scale. It looks like a giant Dark Souls boss.
Here you go, I added a bison for scale:

Oh thanks, much clearer than a banana.
I once camped in the badlands, a whole horde trundled through the camp. The size of those is enormous, the shoulders where the hight of a tall human 2m.
Yet they were very gentle, it was awe inspiring.
Looks like nature forged its own ice titan. Unreal shot.
Is it… is it… dead?
Nah, these guys were BUILT to survive cold weather. The bison there, depending on how old it is, is anywhere from the size of a motorcycle to the size of an SUV, with a large chunk of that being straight fat and thick fur. Probably not loving it, but they’ll be fine enough.
The fur covered in snow is a very good sign - it means it’s keeping its heat well inside, with the heat that is escaping not even managing to melt the snow that’s stuck to it. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s actually doing alright under there.
Built to survive cold weather is an understatement.
These guys made it through the Ice Age
still cold af though. was in Montreal years ago for -35 (interestingly enough, the temp where F is roughly equal to C).
car battery was just about dead, and my jeans froze stiff from walking 10 mins outside.
Plus don’t forget they continuously cycle heat away from their skin & extremities via the magic of countercurrent exchange. 🌈
Is it Celsius or Fahrenheit? Actually, never mind it’s around the same anyway
U.S., so I assume Fahrenheit
So this what they call absolute Aura farming 🫶

“I was born for this.”
C or F?
I believe -35F is ~-37C sooo
Close enough to the point where it doesn’t matter (-40)
