This springtail was about 1mm long. Lens: Laowa 25mm f/2.8 Ultra Macro 2.5-5X. two of the photos are focus stacked.

This guy belongs to the family Sminthuridae.
I used to count mites and collembola under a scope all summer. Talk about tedious.

I think it’s Dicyrtomina ornata, but I don’t know anything about identification.
