1. I’d be proud of the rascal knowing her history.
2. Dunno if it’s a repeat offense that Mom has every right to be upset or not. But if so, there might something else wrong with her, maybe something undiagnosed: bad eyesight, ASD, coordination, etc…
3. Both need to calm down and access what they can do to prevent harm. The plant didn’t deserve the abuse, so maybe teach the rascal how to own up her mistakes: get another cup, fill it with water, place the plant in it, and apologize. But I feel like #2 is happening more than trying to upset mom.
