This seems like a fun idea, if gimmicky. Good for flashy stage shows. I am very suspicious about this article, the manufacturer’s website, and the e-ink screen manufacturer’s website all having no videos of it though. The whole point is it changing rapidly, wouldn’t they want to show that?

A guitar-sized eink screen is still pretty pricey, but $2500 - while reasonable in the big scheme of things - is way too much for me.
I don’t play but I want one because of the tech.

Toan is all about the fingerboard.
That’s cool. But that shape will not look good with certain types of bands regardless of color.
