My mother used to react with skepticism to my claim that caffeine didn’t really affect me, and that, in fact, I slept better after some caffeine. When I was (much later in life) diagnosed with ADHD, fucking VINDICATION. It’s also why treating ADHD with stimulants is possible. They have a nonstandard effect compared to what they have on the neurotypical.
Is it really? I was diagnosed as a child, decades ago.
Stimulants often affect ADHD folk differently than the neurotypical.
