Delegates at the UCP AGM reacted with boos when Alberta Premier Danielle Smith asked if they were more confident in Canada following this week's pipeline MOU signing with Ottawa.
Terrible headline. She got applause when she talked about the pipeline deal. The boos came later when she asked if they were more comfortable in Canada than they were a few days ago.
I can’t tell if it’s because Lemmy doesn’t want good things to happen in Alberta, or good things to happen do to Carney. It kinda feels like it’s one of the two canards, though.

And the pipeline deal is why she was asking, so what’s the difference, exactly?
The title suggests that the attendees were booing the pipeline deal. What they were actually booing was the idea of remaining in Canada.

Dislike both. This is a merger of the two terribles.
So you don’t like good things if they’re politically inconvenient?
Hopping on the oil and gas train is a good thing? I have an Inconvenient Truth for you.
A pipeline that never gets built and an oil lobbyist premier in political hot water is not that.
