That’s mentioned only in the end of the article:
By contrast, since the fall of communism, Solidarity, which remains Poland’s largest trade union, has become increasingly aligned with right-wing political groups, in particular the Law and Justice (PiS) party that is currently Poland’s main opposition.
So: a party that is all about “survival of the fittest” now has full say over the logo, and is using that to suppress any of its traditional uses.
And using it to promote right-wing ideology, conservative issues and against solidarity.
