So is the UN basically like a big parliament that doesn’t do anything? I’ve never seen one of these votes actually like, do something.
It is not so much a big parliament as it is a diplomatic platform to exchange opinions. How could these votes be binding if there is no force making sure anything is done? I think it is still good that all countries have a place where they can talk despite all differences but it is not where we can expect salvation from.
The fact this resolution was tabled by Russia, who famously launched their “denazification of Ukraine”, gives me pause
Wow, there’s Nazis in Country - it certainly is a country! Is Russia going to launch an invasion of the USA or Germany or the UK or (insert country name here) next? Or is it just when its a convenient territory that they can scoop up that they give a shit about Nazis?
Every Nazi deserves to die, including the ones in this image. I don’t trust the Russian Hitler to do it without an ulterior motive.
This such a deeply disingenuous argument to make. Fascist in Ukraine literally run the government and they’re not even hiding it. This is a qualitatively different situation from there being fascists in a country. You should be deeply ashamed of yourself.
