The EU countries have no fundamental problem with US law enforcement agencies accessing their national databases to search for threats.
We should consider, that every data the US gets in their fingers will probably be stored until the end of time.
Since we know about the Snowden-Leaks, we know that the US is not our friend. Hell, the NSA even snooped on EU leaders phones (Merkel & Macron). They know absolutely no limitations, when it comes to their interests.
So it probably is even worse, when it comes to citizens data (especially police data).
