It’s like when you take your time spent perfecting the most beautiful or handsome character in the character creator, you’ve actually thought it over and felt that this is the identity you want to play and be known as. Then it basically changes everything about it in the quest possible way and everyone knows you as this random thing generated for you and you can’t go back to the editor, because you never had a real choice of the random body you were given.
Dysphoria isn’t just about gender, it’s about your identity. We can’t decide where we’ve come from but we can decide on where we’re going and how we move through life.
