I wonder why they’re confident in describing the figure as being of an “adolescent girl” and not simply a woman? That seems like a challenging distinction to make unless there’s something specific about the items she’s wearing that would indicate still being more of a child than adult.

I don’t know about in this specific culture, but in many traditional cultures girls keep their hair in loose down styles such as this figure has, and then when cultural adulthood is reached they start wearing it up in braids, covered, or in some other more formal style. That’s what my guess would be, anyway.

It could be compared to the other artifacts found at same time

I couldnt find any more insight either though

There is a citation to a jstor report - https://www.jstor.org/stable/25161457. I imagine that has more detail, but I don’t have access to jstor.

Using incredible maths and science, I think I’ve been able to reconstruct what this person may have looked like:

Just a community for everyone to share artifacts, reconstructions, or replicas for the historically-inclined to admire!

Generally, an artifact should be 100+ years old, but this is a flexible requirement if you find something rare and suitably linked to an era of history, not a strict rule. Anything over 100 is fair game regardless of rarity.
