Lick that boot harder fucking corporate simps
I really want to be one of the people with extra monies.
streaming subs are like $20-25 a month. closer to $10 w/ ads they aren’t $200+
I doubt you are that poor. You just would rather spend your money elsewhere. Which is fine. My ‘broke’ nephews spend most of their money on bubble tea, for example.
You can also just rotate services. I basically change streaming providers every 2-3 months so I am constantly getting new content and it costs me about $20 a month
Those subscriber numbers are still somewhat surprising given that Disney had two events in the quarter (which ended Sept. 25) that could impact subscribers: the short-lived suspension of Jimmy Kimmel, and the announcement of price increases. It is worth noting that the timing of subscription renewals may mean that any canceled subscriptions might not appear until the company’s fiscal Q1, and conveniently for Disney, it has previously said that it will stop reporting streaming subscribers in its next quarterly earnings report.
small things add up. a year of streaming is a month of food.
I canceled my subscription after the most recent price hike. Disney pulled off of YouTube TV a few weeks ago, though, so no ESPN. If you want to watch college football, you have to subscribe to their service, which I imagine would lead to a surge in subscribers.
Good points, but this report does not reflect any of that

Tells you everything you need to know. If the numbers were good, they’d report them.
