On a personal body level (walking, facial recognition) to your property (cars from the flock systems they are putting up)
There are individual solutions, but of limited success. The most effective method is policy change and the most effective way to change policy is with a collection of people.
Form a concerned community member group, grow the group, approach local politicians and city council members, requesting change.
Check out the deflock and EFF web sites for inspiration.
This is the hardest but most effective method. I was able to change a speed limit in the neighborhood and close a road that was being abused as a traffic light bypass by bringing concerned community members together.
Well, the cameras are in place and won’t be removed without force. Your plan is only possible if the governments of the world were not planning to spy on everyone. Which they are unfortunately. They aren’t doing this simply for a check or because they are unaware. This is a WEF push
I understand your point, but there have been some successes in bringing these issues to light: City committee rejects Smart Street Lights surveillance policy in San…
There are others as well, I can’t find them now in the sea of articles. There are also large oranizations that can help to get a community organized.
I think the key is to tone down the message a bit to bring the “normies” into the conversation. Talk about a waste of tax dollars, talk about why you should care about privacy when you have nothing to hide. Talk about how these devices are misused and abused for personal gain and rarely assist in bringing criminals to accountability.
Most people don’t care about privacy but may care if their tax dollars are squandered or if their daughter had a stalker.
I don’t want to dismiss all political action, as some of it does work, especially on a municipal level, however, the wide-scale implications are never adjusted or fixed. These people are getting paid to install these cameras, and they have an agenda. The people in power must be put out of power, who support this.
As for the normies, this has always been a fundamental problem of America. They need to be educated or completely detox from our society. We can’t afford stupidity any longer. I do agree they need to be educated. However, I am putting them on a two-year deadline.
A deadline is only as meaningful as your ability to convince people it is meaningful. Set a deadline as psygod, no one gives a shit. Set a deadline as a political action group with 2% of the population as members, now you’re getting some attention. 20%? Change is happening.
Zenni has new blocking glasses.
I have to do research on this. Highly doubt it’s gonna work though. Seems like regular sunglasses to me. If sunglasses won’t hide your face, I don’t see how this would. Especially with see through lenses.
Now some sunglasses with extremely dark tint and that are large enough could obscure a portion of your face to make your face harder to track. But these new AI systems have the ability to understand other parts of your face as long as they already have you in a database.
They are supposing the idea that near infrared waves are the only things the cameras use to track your face. That isn’t true.
Im so screwed as I, and I have been told all the boys in my family, have a distinctive walk. If you want to sorta vanish its not so bad. rock in a shoe or just obscure you face or features.
gotta start buying different height shoes

they can’t profile you if each time you are looking even more fabulous
I’m legit interested in that anti-camera hoodie that was in the new series of Dexter, but I’m not sure if it’s actually real or not lol.
I saw it for sale somewhere.
Hoodie, sunglasses, COVID mask. Change the way you walk.
Can they flock your property without your permission? Are those cameras stone- or spray paint-resistant?
