So this would be a self fulfilling prophecy sort of situation.

People are nicer to good looking people.

Good looking people typically have more symmetrical faces. And display marks of the gender more predominantly. (Square jaw for men, full lips and big eyes for women).

So what happens is. When your boss treats you differently, this will change your performance.

The research on face features predicting some outcome are flawed in this way. They don’t predict some innate trait or ability.

They predict how the environment someone is in, imposes things on that person as a result of their gender conformity features and face symmetry.

There are other face features that have stereotypes associated with them. Such as having a baby face. Or unibrow.

Even facial hair.

These things do affect how others interact with you.

Their expectations can alter you by their actions to bring those things to reality.
