The the Lemmy devs are cunts, basically. They also run .ml which is a heavily censored instance. The two primary devs make reddit mods and admins look like pure angels compared to the shit they pull with their weird superiority complex power trips. Bundle that mess with your average tankie arrogance and that should paint a decent picture for you.

BTW, the devs seem to “monitor” other instances and communities like this and will issues your bans on .ml based on comments not on their own instance. It happens less frequently to my knowledge, but it happened to me. (Zero fucks were given by me, FWIW.)

I’m not sure about the particular incident referred to, but the two Lemmy devs are notorious tankies who aggressively ban dissent and mock dissenters, except when they’re begging for money, at which point they insist that they’re really responsible and totally listening right now 🥺
I presume Lemmy.ca submitted some complaint or software issue that is being dismissed because Lemmy.ca isn’t one of their pet tankie instances.
