Fairphone is notoriously slow in regards to shipping security updates, making their phones unusable for anyone who cares about security and privacy (since without security, there can be no privacy)
I’m having a tough time deciding. On the one hand Pixel+GrapheneOS would probably be the most private and secure. On the other hand, Fairphone would be the easiest to repair.
I like doing things myself (up to a point) and not being at the mercy of some repair shop. I also don’t want to buy another phone for a really long time.
If you plan on crossing the border or protecting the data on your phone when it’s in cop hands, GrapheneOS is the only Android option, if you don’t want to go GrapheneOS, an iPhone is legit a better option for security than any other Android (especially with DivestOS being dead and all)
I was wondering the same thing. I’ve been daily driving /e/OS for over a month now, and I’ve been really happy with it. And that’s after I had bounced off of GrapheneOS at the beginning of last year!
Would you say this is relevant if you want to use Linux?

Although the Trump regime is also a real threat…

Why is eOS trash?
