    they weren’t the best years of your life then. life is unique to each of us. not all of us peak at the same time. you cannot waste the best years of your life because in your best years you will be busy enjoying your life.

    take it from someone who almost committed suicide in his early 20s. don’t lament your depression era. celebrate getting healthy and meeting new people

        it’s a process. it begins when you begin it. it will be hard at first because your depression era atrophies these muscles. i recommend the personal trainer of a therapist to get you started.

        i also recommend keeping a journal to log your journey. journals are wonderful places to bring forward the thoughts you didn’t know you were processing.

        the most important thing to know is that everyone is capable and deserving of love. encouraging the human and humane parts of yourself is the greatest gift you can give yourself
