Anyone can manage it, its dead easy, it costs less by 33% on a whole food plant based diet, Literally the poorest people in the world eat vegan diets because flesh is expensive. It’s healthier for you, it saves the environment.

AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL you are not exploiting others needlessly for your sensory pleasure.

It’s still a big change and not everyone is going to be able to embrace it all at once. Anyone reducing their animal-diet should be congratulated for the change rather than berated for not going far enough.

I’m doing my part! Or trying to anyway.

I got sterilized years ago, and talk to young adults whenever I can about their breeding options, many of whom have never been presented with the idea that children are a choice and you don’t have to choose to do it. I buy as little as possible, I don’t work for any sort of company, and I am trying to grow as much of my own food as possible year round (hydroponic basement farm is being set up, some plants are nearing production!). If everything goes well with it I’ll be providing food for others as well; local is always better than shipped, even if it technically costs more than buying in some cases (tho in my case it really doesn’t, and I’m always on the hunt for ways to make it even cheaper).
