Romania is ranked 51st out of 145 countries in military strength, but they’ll get NATO support if they go to war.
Even without NATO support, Russia is currently struggling against Ukraine. If by some insane series of events, Romania decided to enter the war (which, as it would not count as a defensive action, would not necessarily trigger NATO involvement), Romania probably would overwhelmingly turn the tide just by the infusion of a literal entire nation’s worth of fresh, NATO-standard units.
Unfortunately, such an involvement of any country seems unlikely at this juncture, and the bloody stalemate looks to continue until one side or the other collapses.
The West has a lot of Ukrainian blood on our hands for not offering Ukraine everything they needed immediately.
