The kindle app has a setting that turns backs a page when you put your device down, so when you pick it back up it’s on the previous page (or however many back you select). I inevitably read at least ⅓ of a page I’d already read, wondering why it sounds so familiar, before I figure it out. I don’t turn off the feature because I’m convinced it might be useful at some point.
