Yes, the implications are that people will democratically vote to stop democracy. That is not good for a country/unión.

Your only example of this is Marseille and yeah the marseille situation is obviously due to the supposed country of origin of its inhabitants and not at all by the socioeconomical context that made impossible for young ppl to live there without commiting crimes.
