I’ve got to wonder what kind of person would not only be present for an event like that, but also put this on display in their home.

Jewish cases that hold Torah Scrolls? That’d be a weird thing for these Halloween decorations.

Makes more sense, only remember it used in the Jewish context, I used to love the books of monsters DnD put out for campaigns, but I can’t remember shit that was in them.

I’ve always found it weird and gross that DND uses that word to mean “where liches keep their souls”. Seems a little blood libel-ish.

It was used as such cause Gary Gygax studied a lot of religious history and incorporated a ton of religious ideas into the system, for good or not (in this case). Gygax did that a lot in D&D, the whole of it is heavily Christian coded too. Demons, angels, devils, churches, clerics, crusades, etc.

Why is the word still used? Cause if it doesn’t involve Hasbro making more money they don’t care. Offer em $20 to change phylactery to “amulet” and they’ll do it, but not before lol.

Where would you display this if you were one of the lucky owners? As for me, I think it would fit lovely between the toilet brush and the tp holder.

So… are we betting that these are at Cena, Taker, and Lesnar’s houses in prominent positions?

I’d bid a fiver, just for the fucking weirdness of it. Of course I also think it’d be fun to go to Greece and toss it in the ocean for some diver to find later on hoping they found something.

Buy it and take a dump on his face, call it an art exhibit on his life, seal it in resin and resell it for profit.

…don’t tho he may buy it himself lol
