This just conveniently ignores the diversity in Palestine. From Christians to atheists to muslims to Jews. Hamas is not Palestine. Palestine is not Hamas. There are LGBTQ+ activist in Palestine. And right now their biggest threat is Israel.

This is just a “progressive” rebrand of the old conservative line “we had to destroy the Aztecs to teach them to stop ritually sacrificing people”.

Literally the exact same shit. Anything can be justified under this insane logic.

By this logic, everybody should overlook the Shoah since some of the victims were heterosexists and cissexists:

In the Lichtenburg camp, homosexual and Jewish prisoners were temporarily put together in the punishment company. The two prisoner groups were also grouped into the same work details that had to perform particularly heavy or filthy labor, like the cleaning of cesspits and sewers in Lichtenburg, or the gravel pit and the road roller in Dachau.⁴¹ In enduring these harsh conditions, homosexual prisoners could expect little or no solidarity from other prisoners.

What is more, other prisoners, and here the Jews were no exception, reproduced the stereotypes ascribed to them and often saw homosexuals as gossipy, mendacious, and enslaved to their uncontrollable sex drives.

    (Emphasis added. Source herein.)

nevermind the obscenely clear and failed attempt to appeal to a minority group of people they don’t actually give a fuck about in their own turf, I wonder how they get the idea that every Arab nation is ruled like the Gulf…

    (i don’t actually wonder)

Sorry I don’t think it should be open hunting season on any group of people that disagree with my existence? But hey scratch a lib and all that.

Like I don’t want to go to Gaza, but I don’t understand why it still needs to be said that genocide is wrong, regardless of the people. I wouldn’t want a genocide on Israel even though they are facsist settlers. I don’t get why people are so goddamn blood thirsty. Fuck.

Whataboutism, pink washing, it’s Tuesday I guess /s (Opposing genocide is a principle thing and it has nothing to do with if someone is queer or not, like what’s so hard to get for these people)

The last thing I ever want to do is come out in support of terrorists, but even if you believe Hamas is the most evil organization that’s ever existed, what could they be possibly do that’s worse for Palestine than what’s happening under Israeli occupation?

Basically you have to believe that Hamas wants to genocide Israel. And not just Israel, all the Jews in the world. It’s the only way they can justify it. Even though Hamas arose as a response to the horrible conditions on Palestine by Israel.

i mean, nothing like a fascist religious ethnostate supported by all the homophobes and far-righters of the earth to tell lgbt+ people that a land ravaged by a genocide would be little progressive

How many Jewish Poles in 1936 tolerated gay and trans people? How many of them deserved the gas chambers?
